This is not a mainstream portal, in fact it has the ambitious goal to tell news that only few journalists would like to tell, in order to awake people's consciences.

This is a short description of Matchman News, the Novae Terrae Foundation's portal, which is online since the beginning of 2015. We have been revealing news that were nearly ignored by the mainstream newspapers, always remembering our mission, described in the name of the portal itself: the match.

The matchstick produces a little light when it is rubbed. But from that little light, we can light up dozens of candles. And so we do: we want to light up readers' consciences. In fact there are a lot of news nearly ignored by mainstream information portals.
